In the Bakery at Life is Art Foundation / KKProjects, thousands of shimmering, barely visible filament and tiny silver beads were plotted out and positioned to create the actual objects of Mike McKay's childhood room in three dimensions. The furniture and objects were positioned in the sculpture as the artist discovered upon his revisit, post hurricane Katrina. As light hit the sculpture, the objects would appear and disappear, inspiring long and meditative process of viewing.
